The Battle

Their attempts at hiding their actions drew in too much curiosity from their mothers. They witnessed their sons embracing each other. Tears in their eyes from no longer being apart, Petrislav and Wrinvichor did not see their audience. Wrath built up in the mothers and they began their feuding once more. The goddesses whipped up gale-force winds and destruction in their wake. Petrislav and Wrinvichor nearly broke their embrace but emboldened by their ever-growing love, the two gods held each other closer still.

Aether and Blix drew weapons as their fervor grew. With bow and arrow in hand, both women shot arrow after arrow at each other. The projectiles pierced the earth and cracked landmasses. Water gushed between these tectonic plates and separated the ground even more. Bolt after bolt the goddesses aimed blindly at each other as the cyclones around them grew nearly tearing the atmosphere apart.
